After four successful TEDxWilmette events sharing big ideas from over 25 different speakers, we are happy to continue connecting and keeping the conversation going with the TEDxWilmette community: Salons.  

 

Salons offer an opportunity to bring our community together more than once a year, and a chance to interact on a personal level with each other and our speakers. We hope you can join us!

What are Salons?

Salons are TED-sanctioned events in a smaller group setting, each featuring the talk from one of our 2023 speakers, followed by a moderated discussion.  All of the 2023 speaker talks can be viewed on our Videos page.

When are the Salons?

We are planning six Salons for 2023-24. They will be held on the 4th Tuesday of the month starting in September from 7:15pm - 8:30pm, with a break in December.

Where are the Salons?

The Salons will be presented at The Wilmette Theatre in downtown Wilmette. Their renovated space is conducive to group discussion. The Theatre’s concession stands (including wine and beer) will be open.

How do I attend?

Tickets will be $30 and available approximately four weeks before each Salon. Tickets can be purchased through the TEDxWilmette home page. Subscribers to TEDxWilmette will also receive an e-mail when tickets are available.
